Excalibur Scroll Saw
The user will need to supply the 5” unpinned saw blades (similar to this).
General guidelines for choosing blades:
- Wide, thick blades with course teeth are better suited to cutting straight lines and will not cut tight corners.
- Narrower, thinner blades with finer teeth will cut more slowly, but will turn much tighter corners for very intricate work.
- Consider material thickness when selecting blades. Ensure that a minimum of two or three teeth are in contact with the workpiece at all times. For example, when cutting 1/8” thick material, use a blade with a minimum of 16-20 teeth per inch.
