| Yieu Chyan | Science Sundays and DMS-Avanza-TAMS Partnership | Update the board on Science Committee Initiatives | UPDATE, NO MOTION Science would like to briefly update the board on two initiatives it is pursuing. 1) Updated Science Sunday Format (sciencesunday.org) - an increased focus on accessibility and projects that may lead to new discoveries/designs or those that improve DMS capabilities for both Science and other committees. As much as possible, we intend to publish complete projects on Science's source page with instructions, source code, 3D files, and data. 2) An outreach/class building program - This will involve a partnership between DMS (mentorship and facilities), the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science at UNT (class development and teaching), and Avanza (STEM outreach to minority students by MIT alumni).
