Kite photography

Project 1

Have to gather parts for the project. Needed: kite, picavet, camera.

Got a kite—going to use a Gayla delta-wing kite

Made a picavet—used dowel rods, eyelet-screws, zip-ties, an old CDROM, and hot glue.

Got a camera—Alan Hatchett has given us a Canon Powershot A470 to run CHDK on.

20100516 Attempted to fly. http://www.dfwdragonboatfestival.com/ Wind conditions are from 0-3 mph. Just not enough to get any flying done. Used a delta kite from New Tech, Austin.
