- A great year of substantial growth thanks to the efforts of members, SIG leaders, volunteer teachers, and board member backed investments
- Fibers
- Purchase of loom and spinning wheel will be allowing for growth into new avenues of exploration and learning
- Cosplay
- Just experiencing a regrowth of classes and areas of development this will be an area of great DMS crossover projects
- Leather
- Continuing to cover the basics and grow the tool assortment for trained members
- Silkscreen
- Talk about a cluster of a start - we should be flying now with classes
- Drying box for emulsioned screens is 98% complete
- Computer
- Annex (aka Warehouse 13) buildout happened thanks to the efforts and sweat of many overworked volunteers
- Donation of big bertha a 64” printer will allow for huge prints
- Sewing
- Purchase of a sewing station will help members easily setup and work
- Leadership
- Nicole Franczvai and David Kessinger are stepping down from Creative Arts leadership
- Devin Burnett and Mark Reynolds will be stepping up as new Chair and Vice-Chair for next years leadership
- New Members
- To help new members feel comfortable with the operation of the creative arts room we will continue orientations
- Future of Creative Arts at Dallas Makerspace
